The venue
Parc Esportiu de Can Dragó, in Porta, Nou Barris, sits on the former grounds of a 17th-century farmhouse and subsequent railway workshops. Designed by Enric Pericas and opened in 1990, this nearly 12-hectare complex hosted part of the '92 Olympic training. It features the city's largest outdoor pool and diverse sports facilities, flanked by tree-lined promenades. A replica of Pau Gargallo's "Els aurigues olímpics" is a visual landmark, solidifying its role as key sports infrastructure and urban hub.
