The venue
In Camp d'en Grassot, the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish is a striking example of architectural eclecticism. Begun in 1904 by Joan Martorell i Montells and completed by his son, its design blends Neo-Byzantine, Gothic, and Neo-Mudéjar influences. The façade, with its octagonal towers and rose window, bears the scars of the Tragic Week of 1909 and the Spanish Civil War, a testament to its enduring history. This Claretian church, elevated to parish status in 1972, remains a tangible cultural artifact within Gràcia's urban fabric.
