The venue
In Poble-sec, the Parròquia de la Mare de Déu de Lourdes, at C Font Honrada 33, boasts an eclectic aesthetic. Rebuilt in 1916 by Francesc de Paula del Villar Carmona, its unique design features two nave domes and a baroque bell tower seamlessly integrated into the corner entrance. Originally the church of Santa Madrona (1867) and parish of the historic França Xica, it was tragically destroyed during the Setmana Tràgica. Its current name, adopted after pilgrimages to avoid confusion, cements its status as the neighborhood's oldest parish, a true landmark in the urban tapestry of Sants-Montjuïc.
