The venue
The Parish of Our Lady of Grace and Saint Joseph, popularly known as 'els Josepets,' stands in Plaça Lesseps, a prime example of Catalan classicist Baroque. Built between 1658 and 1687 under the direction of Carmelite architect Fray Josep de la Concepció, this temple was the heart of the former Santa Maria de Gràcia convent. Its historical relevance is intrinsically linked to the formation and naming of today's Gràcia neighborhood. After events like the disentailments and the ravages of the Civil War, the building — classified as a Local Cultural Asset — has undergone reconstructions and restorations, maintaining its mark on the urban fabric. Its tripartite facade and architectural details narrate centuries of local and cultural history.
