The venue
On Via Augusta in Vila de Gràcia, the Parish of Saint Therese of the Child Jesus stands as a key architectural landmark of post-war Barcelona. Designed in 1932 by Josep Domènech i Mansana, its construction, halted by the Civil War, finished in 1940. The church features a main facade, clad in two-tone stoneware, which, along with its slender bell tower, showcases clear influences of Scandinavian architecture. Its three-nave design and attached rectory form a sober ensemble, where verticality and a pyramidal inclination define its urban silhouette.
