The venue
At La Rambla 83, Pastisseria Escribà makes its home in Antigua Casa Figueras. This building first established its presence in El Raval as a pasta factory back in 1820. Reimagined and adorned in 1902 by painter and set designer Antoni Ros i Güell, its facade is a Modernista manifesto. Polychrome mosaics, stained glass, and wrought ironwork, collaborations with artists like Lambert Escaler and Mario Maragliano, stand out. Today, the fourth generation of Escribà keeps a confectionery tradition alive, deeply integrated into Ciutat Vella's cultural fabric, offering creations that connect with a rich historical legacy.
