Platja del Llevant
Platja Llevant: Barcelona's post-industrial coastline.

The venue
Platja del Llevant, opened in 2006, is Barcelona's newest stretch of sand. Born from the urban revamp of the Sant Martí district, specifically the Fòrum area, its creation involved removing the old Prim breakwater, transforming a former industrial front into a leisure hub. With 375 meters of golden sand, the beach offers a calm counterpoint to the dynamism of nearby Diagonal Mar. Notably, it's Barcelona's first and only beach with a designated dog zone, a functional touch defining its urban inclusivity. This spot offers direct views of the surrounding modern architecture, a testament to city-sea planning redefined.
