Stretching 415 meters, Platja de la Nova Icària is a direct legacy of Olympic Barcelona '92. Its creation, part of Sant Martí's urban redesign, transformed the coastline, moving beyond the old Somorrostro. Its surroundings see the functionality of the Vila Olímpica converse with the iconic Port Olímpic towers, Gehry's "Peix d'Or" sculpture, and Álvaro Siza's Meteorological Center. A coastal stretch balancing urban planning with a tranquil sea pause.
