The venue
Between 1853 and 1873, the Recinte dels Camps Elisis turned Passeig de Gràcia into an entertainment hub with its pioneering amusement park and a theatre that premiered Wagnerian opera on the peninsula. This space occupied the equivalent of eight blocks of the future Eixample, offering rides, dances, and shows to Barcelona's society.
