The venue
Founded in 1899 by the British colony, Reial Club de Tennis Barcelona pioneered the introduction of the sport to the city. After earning its Royal title in 1913, it settled in Pedralbes in 1952, on grounds with medieval vestiges. Since 1953, it's hosted the Trofeo Conde de Godó, a world-elite ATP 500 event. Its eighteen clay courts have nurtured legends like Rafael Nadal. Located in Les Corts, its trajectory marks it as a historic sports and cultural node in Barcelona.
