The venue
The Institute of the Nuns of Our Lady of Mercy, in Sant Gervasi de Cassoles, dates back to 1859. Established as a convent and girls' school in 1860, its current edifice blends phases by Bernat Pejoan (1917-1926) and Josep Danés' post-Civil War restoration. On the corner, a Mare de Déu image under a neo-Gothic canopy takes prominence. Historically, the site served as a field hospital and temporary parish, reflecting Sarrià-Sant Gervasi's adaptability and its enduring religious and social commitment to the urban fabric.
