Perched on the majestic Avenida Tibidabo, Restaurant El Asador de Aranda resides in the historic Casa Roviralta, a true Modernista gem in Barcelona. Affectionately known as "El Frare Blanc" (The White Friar), this 1913 edifice by Joan Rubió i Bellver, a Gaudí disciple, merges an ancient farmhouse structure—once home to Dominican monks—with distinct Modernista flair: a singular roofline and handcrafted facade details. White walls playfully contrast with exposed brick and ceramic frames, echoing the bourgeois elegance that has defined the avenue since the early 20th century. Inside, the Modernista legacy continues with striking brickwork and soaring ceilings.
