The venue
In the heart of Eixample, specifically in Fort Pienc, stands the Former Catalan Hydroelectric Headquarters, a landmark of industrial Modernism. Designed by Pere Falqués i Urpí between 1896 and 1899, the building blends exposed brick, wrought iron, and stone details with innovative iron beams on its facade, anticipating new architectural trends. Its main corner entrance, crafted with stone elements and glazed ceramics, leads to a circular lobby. Originally an electricity production plant, today it houses Espai Endesa-Vilanova, a museum dedicated to the history of energy.
