The venue
At Avinguda Tibidabo, 27, stands the Torre d'Ignacio Portabella, a 1905 building by master builder Josep Pérez i Terraza. This residential structure is an amalgam of historicism, eclecticism, and modernism, distinct elements of the era's architecture. The facade is notable for its painted friezes on the second floor, attributed to Manuel Bernat and Joaquim Creus, depicting allegories of the four seasons. A circular tower and rooftop balustrade complete a composition that, restored in 2006, maintains its presence in the Sant Gervasi enclave.
