Torre del Fang

Medieval vestige, witness to urban evolution.

The venue

Torre del Fang, a medieval farmhouse at the crossroads of Clot and Espronceda streets in La Sagrera, stands as a Local Cultural Heritage Site in the Sant Andreu district. Its oldest facade dates back to the late 13th century, featuring Gothic elements and 18th-century additions. Historically agricultural, it was a strategic point during the War of the Spanish Succession, serving as a Bourbon base. Transformed by the arrival of the railway in the 19th century, the farmhouse, currently abandoned, awaits rehabilitation to integrate it into the neighborhood's cultural fabric, despite recent improvements to its surroundings.
