The venue
The Viaducte de Bellesguard, on the street of the same name, stands as a silent testament to Antoni Gaudí's urban planning vision. Conceived between 1900 and 1909, and completed in 1908, its primary role was to reroute the old path to Sant Gervasi cemetery, navigating the uneven terrain over the Betlem stream. This ten-arch structure boasts columns mimicking outward-leaning elephant legs, plus a funicular profile revealing mechanical precision. Clad in local stone, it fuses engineering function with Gaudian aesthetics, echoing Park Güell and cementing Modernista heritage in Sant Gervasi - la Bonanova.
