The venue

Casa de la Barceloneta 1761
Barceloneta: Echoes of its 1761 founding.
Nestled at Carrer de Sant Carles, 6, Casa de la Barceloneta 1761 stands as an architectural relic of the neighborhood's original layout. Deemed the last surviving 18th-century home from the district's founding, it retains its original volume and three-street façade, a hallmark of the initial military planning. After a 2011 renovation that respected its exterior, the building transformed into a cultural hub dedicated to preserving Barceloneta's historical and collective memory. This municipal center researches and promotes the district's identity through exhibitions, workshops, and the Barceloneta Popular Photographic Collection, serving as a cornerstone of its cultural heritage.
